Carpooling

Hello Into the Woods Families,

The Green Room Committee is in the process of finalizing the clean-up schedule for dress rehearsal week and performance days. If you are carpooling with another family and would like to have your child scheduled on the same day as another, please e-mail Cheri and I by Friday, April 30th. It is our desire to have the clean-up schedule finalized and available by the May 7th parent meeting.

Ticket Sales Goals for Spring Shows

Dear Families,

I know you received an email this morning regarding our TICKET CONTEST GRAND PRIZE- Dinner with the Directors. We also reward any family selling 20 or more tickets with CYT Bucks and an invitation to our Spring Ticket Party at Lewisville Park. Anyone who sells tickets during the week is included in our drawing for a special treat announced during class breaks.

Our Into the Woods Ticket Sales Goals are:
$16,000 for weekend shows. (About 1525 tickets. 255 per performance)
$2,400 for school day shows (this goal has been met!)

157 tickets have sold for Into the Woods; with ticket revenue of $1353. This does not include school days - which are right about 450 tickets sold. They are all for the morning performance. It would be great to sell 200 to the noon show! There are about 20 sold so far.

Families get ticket credit for ALL three shows! Remind the purchaser to list your name when ordering tickets- so you can receive credit.

Into the Woods - Rehearsal Schedule
FIRST REHEARSAL for ALL Cast & Crew
Friday, April 16 4:30-8:30pm (Cast) & 4:30-6:00 (Crew)
1st Church of God

Please drive around to the back of the church to drop off your kids.

We will be taking PROGRAM PHOTOS at this first rehearsal. Cast and crew should wear a dark, solid shirt for their photo. Cast members should dress comfortably, wear good shoes for dancing (no flip-flops or sandals), bring a three ring binder (for handouts, music, script), a pencil, water bottle and dinner/snack.

Optional: You can order pizza for $1.50/slice when you arrive.

FIRST PARENT MEETING
Friday, April 16 6-8:30pm
Room 120 (Downstairs through back church entrance)

Cast parents are required to attend this meeting. Crew parents are encouraged to attend, especially if you are new to CYT.

Cast and crew must attend all rehearsals they are scheduled for. The rehearsal schedule will be available at the First Parent Meeting and on the Blog.

Callback List

Please be on time for the time you are called. Callbacks are closed (no one can attend but the student called) and will be at First Church of God as well. Callbacks will be held in a room in the back of the church so please drive to the back parking lot and use that entrance. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, no flip-flops or sandals, as dance auditions are part of callbacks. Bring a snack or lunch if you are called all day.

If you are not called back it does not mean you are not cast in the show! The complete cast and crew list will be posted on the callboard under each respective show at 7:00 PM Sunday evening.
